We collect information needed to operate accounts and transactions, including names, email addresses, password hashes, account roles, agreement records, and limited security information such as IP address and browser details.

Checkout may collect billing and delivery information through a payment provider. Timberline Hollow should not store complete payment-card numbers. We use information to provide access, deliver purchases, moderate the community, prevent abuse, maintain records, and meet legal obligations.

Youth accounts are guardian-managed. Public youth profiles must use a limited display name or pen name and must not display school names, precise locations, contact information, or other identifying details.

Members may request access, correction, or deletion of eligible account information. Some transaction, safety, and legal records may need to be retained. We do not sell personal information.

Author-page moderation: when a writer submits a public profile or book listing for checks, the public text and cover/profile images are sent to OpenAI for automated content review. The EPUB manuscript is not sent by this checker. Private drafts are not automatically scanned. Review outcomes and owner decisions are logged to support appeals and enforcement. Automated checks can be wrong; writers may request owner review.
